Take a moment to imagine with me...
Imagine hiking up the hill, in the middle of a beautiful and shady forest, with an intimate group of like-minded Souls, laughing together, feeling the excitement building, already tasting the cleanest air you’ve ever breathed….
Emerging, after a 2 hour hike, into a sudden opening of the whole Valley - your breath is taken away by the mesmerising beauty of it all, previously hidden to you….you find yourself moved, crying, relief floods your bones. You just know you are home.
Imagine resting deeply over the following days, and going for beautiful walks completely immersed in pure nature…feeling the close contact of the trees and birds, the refreshing mountain river bubbling by, the marmots calling (well kind of shrieking!) in the distance occasionally, the gentle lull of cow and goat bells as your background companions. Imagine really fully receiving clear messages from the natural world around you, waking up your intuitive senses in a whole new way.
Imagine coming back to a 1600 wooden hut with a gorgeous big room with wooden floors, where we sit together in a circle, like our ancestors used to do. Our retreat activities - group energy healing and meditation sessions, sensory and creative workshop sessions - are held in a large open plan room with a gorgeous wooden floor, in our historical wooden mountain family home. Shamanic ceremonies and immersive activities are held in the stunning outdoors!

Itinerary
You fly into Milan Malpensa airport, Italy (you are responsible for booking and paying for your own flights). From here you will be picked up at 4.30pm by shared taxi transfer (organised by us), and brought to Alagna Valsesia (Piemonte, Italy).
September 6th:
- Before 4pm: Arrive at Milan Malpensa airport
- 4.30pm: Shared taxi transfer pick-up in 2 groups from Milan Malpensa
- 6.30pm-7pm: Arrival in Alagna Valsesia, at Montagna di Luce Hotel
- 8pm: Delicious dinner all together at the Hotel's Restaurant
7th September:
- 9.30am-12pm: Hike up to the secluded Val d'Otro, where we will stay for the rest of the Retreat, and where all Retreat activities will take place, until Sunday evening inclusive.
7th-9th September:
- 3 days in the mountains of retreat workshops, detox from the world, and relaxing
10th September
- 9.30am-11.30pm: Hike down the mountain back to Alagna Valsesia
- 12pm: Shared taxi transfer pick-up back to Milan Malpensa
- 2.30-3pm: Arrival at Milan Malpensa airport, from where you can take your flight home

What level of fitness do I need to attend?
IMPORTANT: You need to be fit enough to hike up from Alagna Valsesia to Val D'Otro, the main location for the retreat. It is a fairly steep hiking path, and depending on your fitness levels, can take 1 and a half to 2 hours.

What kind of accommodation is included?
The first night you will be staying in a very comfortable ensuite hotel room, with two to three twin beds, sharing with up to 2 other people. The rest of the retreat will be up in Val d'Otro in a wooden cabin, and the accommodation there is simple, charming and RUSTIC. You will have your own bed (some are large bunkbeds), with a comfortable mattress, sharing in a room with up to 5 other people. There are also 2 private double bedrooms available, at a small surcharge. There will be 3 bathrooms shared between 10 people.

What clothes and belongings should I bring?
It is important that you only pack absolute essentials, in a sturdy backpack. We will provide a "pulley"-type transport service for your backpack for the hike up, but you will have to carry the backpack on the hike back down, so you want to pack lightly and simply! Just a few change of clothes, essential toiletries, a light rain jacket, a fleece, and a book/journal. Please wear sturdy hiking boots.

What kind of weather should I expect?
The weather in the mountains can be very changeable. It can go from hot sun to rain and cold... Bring layers and a light rain jacket, just in case.

What's included in the price?
All accommodation, transport to and from the airport, three meals a day (including delicious mountain spring water), all retreat workshop sessions and experiences are all included in your investment.

What's NOT included in the price?
Flights/trains to Milan are NOT included. You are responsible for booking your own flights, and we require that you purchase Travel Insurance.
Transfers are from Milan Malpensa airport only. If you fly into another airport you will need to arrange your own transfer. (There are buses connecting Milan Linate airport with Malpensa, and trains from Milan centre to Malpensa.)
Any drinks other than water and extra snacks outside of meals are NOT included.
Lunch and dinner are not included on the final departure day as we will be travelling home (but breakfast on that day will be included).
Optional extra 1-1 healing sessions with Sabrina, during the course of the retreat, are not included, and can be added for an extra cost.

Am I going to have time to relax?
Yes! Not only will we have deep healing experiences, but we are also going to have lots of FUN! Such as eating pizza from the village stone-oven, dancing and singing together, learning from the locals all about how things used to be done before automation: for e.g, how to make cheese and slow-fermentation bread, and so much more!
And you will have plenty of alone time, to simply BE...in complete silence and stillness.
